Pricing questions

How is the annual license priced?
Flat, quoted to your institution's size — enrolment band and campuses — and billed in your currency on your procurement terms. There are no per-report or per-seat charges on the annual license, so exam-season spikes cost nothing extra.
How does purchasing work for a public institution?
Quote-led and procurement-friendly: we accept purchase orders and bank transfer as first-class payment paths and issue tax-compliant invoices for your jurisdiction. Card payment is available but never required.
Do credit packs really never expire?
Yes. A prepaid pack of 5,000 checks stays valid until it is used up, and only completed reports meter against it — failed or cancelled checks are never billed.
What happens when the 14-day evaluation ends?
Nothing silent: the workspace pauses, your data stays exportable, and nothing converts to a paid plan without a signed order. Most institutions run a real thesis batch during the evaluation before any contract is signed.
Can we switch from Turnitin or DrillBit mid-contract?
Yes — most institutions run iOriginally in parallel during the evaluation period and cut over at term boundaries. Your institutional repository builds from your own submissions from day one, and our team assists with migration planning.
Is self-hosting priced differently?
The license price is the same whether we host it or you deploy on your own infrastructure. Self-hosting keeps every document inside your network; managed cloud hosting is included if you'd rather not operate it.
Is there regional or consortium pricing?
Yes. Multi-institution groups, state systems and consortia get shared-agreement pricing, and regional pricing applies so institutions are quoted fairly in their own market.
